Digging out the information needed for reseach and
background can be very difficult and is often fraught with pitfalls.
(One of my students was doing research on Animal Farm
for a poster and was horrified to see what came up for links when
she typed in "donkey.") Preassembled research links
in the form of webquests and scavenger hunts can make the searching
much easier and safer. The teacher can screen the links and add
them to the webquest or scavenger hunt.
