Grendel's Mother defeated!

Just a while ago, Grendel's Mother, an evil she-devil from a fen in Denmark, was defeated by a man named Beowulf. This man also defeated Grendel himself a little while before. Beowulf knew that Grendel's Mother was far worse than Grendel himself.

Beowulf and his loyal men decided to await the monster in the Hall Heorot. The monster slithered in at night and was welcomed by the man Unferth who wished that he was evil and immortal and welcomed her in with open arms.
Once she came in she took her son Grendel's arm that Beowulf had kept as a trophy and also took Unferth too.

Beowulf wanted to kill Grendel's mother and so he took his men into the fen and took them to the swamp where Grendel's mother dwelled. There they found Unferth's head on a tree branch. Beowulf told his men that he was going to go under the water and told them that if he did not emerge back from the water in 2 days and 2 nights that meant he must be dead and that they should not risk their lives looking for him.

Beowulf plunged into the water and swam deeper and deeper into the swamp. Soon he floated down into what seemed to be seaweed. Grendel's Mother was waiting for him her tentacles floating gently in the water. He landed in her arms and she handled him softly. But soon, her grip on Beowulf tightened and she carried him down into her lair. Beowulf screamed and kicked but it did him no good.

He was running out of air when suddenly, he could breath again. He had been taken into her den. He grabbed his sword from his side and swung but her skin was tough it just bounced off. Then she took him deeper sucking onto Beowulf. He screamed and that brought him to his senses. Soon he began to talk to Grendel's Mother the same way he had talked to Grendel himself. He began to tell her that HE held her, and that it was like light itself was holding her. She still pulled him down but much slower. Soon his grip on Grendel's Mother tightened. She sighed and Beowulf started to say an incantation to her," I am Beowulf, son of Beowulf," Grendel's Mother's eyes got cloudy. Then he said," I am Beowulf father of himself," he continued," I am Beowulf, who am myself". She then fell asleep. " Sleep, sleep deep and never wake again," then Beowulf strangled her. She was soon dead.
That is how Beowulf saved the Hall Heorot and the people that lived near.
