Grendel's
Mother's Diary
by Jordan
Dear Diary,
I am the wife of Cain and the mother of the fierce Grendel. Tonight he went to the famous Hall Heorot in search of dinner. I am not worried for I have taught him all he knows.
Dear Diary,
I hear sounds coming from outside my fen! 10 men is how many I see, and they are all after Grendel! I see him fighting against those powerless swords that can do no damage to him now. . . He has now killed them all, and I see now that they will be after him for a while.
Dear Diary,
Grendel is now in great danger! They have a trap, and I can feel it. I have heard that they have the wondrous Beowulf by their side. He is the type of man whom makes strengths of his own weaknesses. He, Grendel, has been stupid enough to go back to Hall Heorot.
Dear Diary,
Grendel has now been gone for a long time, and I now know that he is dead from my Grendel coming back with no arm. I have just pronounced him dead.
Dear Diary,
I am leaving tonight to retrieve Grendel's arm from Hall Heorot. I will come back in 1 hr.
Dear Diary,
I am setting the most brilliant plan to kill Beowulf. He will come to the fen, and he will travel down, down into the Earth until he get caught in my tentacles, thinking that it is just seaweed. Then I shall attack him and eat him. I won't die.
Dear Dairy,
I am saying good by for Beowulf is strangling me, and I am running out of air!. Good Bye. I won't live.
