2-3-200 B. C. E.
Today I, Grendel's Mother, went to Grendel's room while he was gone terrorizing Hall Heorot, and I got rid of all the cleanness in his room. Then I looked at all his baby toys and cried. Then after that emotional moment, I went to the grocery store and got some pickled eyeballs at our Local Fen-sons. But I am still mad about forgetting the toe crackers. But oh well. Then by the time I got back from making a second trip to the grocery store, my little Grendel was home and full up with people.
2-4-200 B. C. E.
Today Gerndel left early and didn't come home.Then I decided To go to Hall Heorot, and to my horror I saw Grendel dead on the floor with his arm on the wall like a trophy. Also I saw a small skinny man with narrow shoulders. He came with me while I brought Grendel home. Then once we got to the edge of the fen, he turned and looked at me, and that was the last look he took, I ate him and hung his head from a tree branch.

2-5-200 B. C. E.
For most of the day I mourned the death of my child. Then I called on my phone to the funeral agency; I set up a time to go schedule a funeral. Then I went out and sat up the lawn, I stretched my tentacles out. Then I caught Beowulf and drew him into my cave. I swam into the cave while he was breathing with blood bubbles. Then it started. He spoke, and by the light of his goodness, every word hit me like a knife going through butter. Then I started to get weak. Then I…

Note from editor:

Grendel's mother died January 6, 200 B. E. C. in a brutal fight with Beowulf. He stole a sword and cut off Grendel's head.
